...this whole starving Terri Schiavo to death thing still reeks of murder, not mercy, to me.
I'm just not comfortable with it. I feel like we're "putting her to sleep", like a decision someone makes about their pet. Starvation and dehydration seem more painful than lethal injection.

Yeah, it's a touchy subject because no one but her family can REALLY determine is she's reacting to things. I don't believe that she "won't feel the pain" from starvation. If this happened to me, I wouldn't want to die slowly like that. It would be like dying from the worst hangover ever. I'd want whatever Dr. Kvorkian does.
I never looked at it in the starving to death manner.... That's kinda creepy. I would definately not want to be in her shoes.
Actually, there is another court order to remove her SHOES, since she hasn't been walking all that much.
